Stockholm Cleantech Tour
A half-day bus tour for international investors and cleantech leaders will guide through some of the most exciting cleantech sites and companies in the Stockholm region: city area Hammarby Sjöstad, the Ångström Laboratory at the Uppsala University, the wind turbine constructor ‘Vertical Wind’ testing site with wind energy on Ericsson’s radio masts in Uppsala among others. The Tour is open and free of charge to participants of the Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day, but places are limited and separate registration applies.

"A New Deal for the Climate - A Very Big Deal for Cleantech": In December 2009 world leaders will meet in Copenhagen to agree on a new global climate deal with the objective of preventing dangerous global warming. It is suggested that annual public financing of $100-160 billion will be included in this agreement. Panelists will discuss the challenges that entrepreneurs, investors and government agencies will face if they are to seize this opportunity for growth in the cleantech industry.

“De-mystifying the US market”

a workshop for cleantech professionals, highlighting North America as a potential target market for Scandinavian cleantech companies, with content such as the “The Silicon Valley Way”, “Access to US Cleantech Capital”, “Go-to-market Strategy for Cleantech”, “Structuring the US Operations”. The workshop is organised in cooperation with Cleantech Circle, a group of cleantech-engaged serial entrepreneurs and investors based in Silicon Valley. This is a closed workshop for cleantech entrepreneurs, participation is free of charge. The workshop is sponsored by a commercial law firm Vinge, which will also be hosting it.
